The delivery is via electronic media (SMS & IVR), which dramatically reduces carbon emission.

SMS Alerts

Teachers do not have the time to communicate with a large number of parents on a regular basis. Yet parents would provide better support to their child and the school if they were kept informed more often.

Parents must be kept up to date with numerous events within the school, including school closures, exam results, absenteeism, coursework deadlines, reports, reminders, etc. SMSs are responded to more quickly than emails making SMS the most efficient method of communication where there is an element of urgency. Use SMS to communicate with parents, staff, students and other workers – individually or en masse.

Voice Alerts

A recorded message is read to the recipient and then offers the option to transfer to another phone number, e.g. the school administration office, leave a voice message in response or to repeat the message. This would typically be used to send information to pupils, parents or staff, regarding attendance, paying for a school trip or just an information alert.
